COUNCIL MINUTES MARCH 23, 1998 <br /> CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> MINUTES <br /> DATE : March 23, 1998 <br /> TIME STARTED : 6:35 P.M. <br /> TIME ENDED 7:53 P.M. <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT Council Members Bergeson, Lyden, and Neal, and <br /> Mayor Sullivan <br /> MEMBERS ABSENT Council Member Dahl <br /> Staff members present: Interim City Administrator, Dave Pecchia; City Attorney, Bill Hawkins; <br /> City Engineer/Public Works Director, David Ahrens; Community Development Director, Brian <br /> Wessel; Planning Coordinator, Mary Kay Wyland; and City Clerk, Marilyn Anderson <br /> Mayor Sullivan updated the public as to the status of the Lino Lakes area code issue, explaining <br /> that it has been resolved to the PUC's satisfaction,with the entire municipal area included within <br /> the 651 area code. This represents a victory for Lino Lakes, as the City's single community <br /> environment will remain intact. <br /> Additionally, Mayor Sullivan pointed out that there was a ribbon cutting ceremony at the new <br /> Fairview Regional Health Center, attended by economic development staff, Council members, <br /> ^ and Donna Carlson of the Citizens Advisory Group, among others. The opening of the Health <br /> Center signals completion of the first piece of the overall Town Center project. <br /> SETTING THE AGENDA <br /> The Agenda was approved as presented. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA <br /> Council Member Neal moved to approve the Consent Agenda. Council Member Lyden <br /> seconded the motion.
