The project is on <br /> schedule. <br /> 12. Discussion of Developing a Policy with Regard to the Open Meeting Law Which <br /> Would Provide Future Guidance on this Issue (Per discussion at February 23, <br /> 1998 Council meeting), Dave Pecchia <br /> This item will be rescheduled. <br /> 13. Regular Agenda <br /> Item 3. Consideration of Citizens Advisory Group (CAG) 1997 Report- <br /> Council Member Bergeson asked what is the future of this group? He <br /> thought the group would disband after the final 20/20 report. If this is an on- <br /> going committee there should be by-laws, appointments, etc. Dave Pecchia <br /> will pull research by Dan Tesch and let the Council know. Chris wanted to <br /> know if other cities have citizen advisory groups. This information will be <br /> brought to the March 16, 1998 work session. <br /> Item No. 4. Anoka County has advised the City that the Community <br /> Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds cannot be appropriated as <br /> proposed by the City. A resolution is being prepared showing a reduced <br /> dollar amount for the Senior Coordinator and a like amount of dollars will <br /> be budgeted in the CDBG funding to pay for a portion of the Environmental <br /> Inventory project. The balance of the Senior Coordinator funding will come <br /> from the General Fund. <br /> Item No. 7C. Chris said he agreed with the Comprehensive Land Use Plan <br /> process, however, he said he hoped that the Comprehensive Plan committee <br /> would respect the 20/20 vision project. <br /> Item No. 8A. Chris asked why this study is not being completed in-house. <br /> Dave explained that it is to labor intensive and special computer software is <br /> needed. <br /> Item No. 8E. Dave Pecchia will research past policy regarding change orders <br /> and bring the matter to the March 16th work session. <br /> 14. Adjourn <br /> The meeting adjourned at 8:45 p.m. <br /> PAGE 3 <br />
