He told the
residents the importance of trails and discussed location and
development considerations .
He said that he learned at the last meeting that residents were
looking for an active and passive small neighborhood park which
includes :
1 . Trails
2 . Play equipment
3 . Benches
4 . Single Station workout areas
5. Selective clearing of brush
6. Someone asked if it could
be put in the picnic area. There were questions about trails .
Residents wanted to know if the trail would be asphalt. Jeff
responded yes . They would be 8' wide and would accommodate
bikes, and walkers . They could be done during construction of
the park. They also wanted to know if the trails would be
plowed in the winter. Rick told them what the current policy is
on trail plowing. Residents wanted to know how long
construction would take, what type of equipment would be used
and when it could start. There was also discussion on the
horseshoe pits, trees, and whether a Frisbee Golf Course could
be put in.
