Council Member Bergeson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 97-160 RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT FOR 21ST STREET ROAD AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, a certain petition has been submitted to improve 21" Street by constructing watermain, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and street. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of 21st Street between Cedar Street and Main Street by constructing watermain, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and street, filed with the Council on November 24, 1997, is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformity to Minnesota Statutes, Section 429,035 and the Lino Lakes City Charter. 2. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer for study and that he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. The following voted against same: None. Whereupon said resolution was duly passed and adopted.
