Council Member Bergeson introduced the following resolution and moved its <br /> adoption: <br /> CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 97-160 <br /> RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT FOR 21ST STREET ROAD <br /> AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS <br /> WHEREAS, a certain petition has been submitted to improve 21" Street by constructing <br /> watermain, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and street. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br /> 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of 21st Street between Cedar <br /> Street and Main Street by constructing watermain, sanitary sewer, storm sewer <br /> and street, filed with the Council on November 24, 1997, is hereby declared to be <br /> signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This <br /> declaration is made in conformity to Minnesota Statutes, Section 429,035 and <br /> the Lino Lakes City Charter. <br /> 2. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer for study and that he is <br /> instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council <br /> in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is necessary, <br /> cost-effective, and feasible and as to whether it should best be made as <br /> proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost <br /> of the improvement as recommended. <br /> Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 10th of November, 1997. <br /> J9Kn L. Anderson, Clerk-Treasurer <br /> The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br /> Member Kuether and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br /> favor thereof: Bergeson, Kuether, Lyden, Neal, Landers. <br /> The following voted against same: None. <br /> Whereupon said resolution was duly passed and adopted. <br />
