CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO.21-63 <br />RESOLUTION RESCINDING DECLARATION OF LOCAL STATE OF EMERGENCY <br />(COVID49) <br />WHEREAS, the City Council affirmed the Mayor's declaration of a Local State of Emergency <br />on March 19, 2020, at the outset of the global COVID-19 pandemic to respond to the rapidly <br />worsening public health crisis; and <br />WHEREAS, the declaration afforded staff the necessary authority to implement operational <br />changes and respond to the pandemic and local conditions; and <br />WHEREAS, the Peacetime State of Emergency declared by Governor Tim Walz ended on July <br />1, 2021; and <br />WHERES, the City of Lino Lakes is currently operating under pre -pandemic policies and <br />procedures; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes that <br />the Local State of Emergency affirmed on March 19, 2020, is hereby rescinded. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 12th day of July 2021. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember <br />Ruhland and was duly seconded by Councilmember Lyden and upon vote being taken thereon, <br />the following voted in favor thereof: Ruhland, Lyden, Cavegn, Stoesz, Rafferty <br />The following voted against same: None <br />• P`t�.._ <br />Rob Itafferty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />a e Bartell, C ty C erk <br />
