a �L City of Lino Lakes Park Board Goal Setting Meeting November 25, 1997 The Lino Lakes Park Board Goal Setting meeting was called to order at 6 : 15pm, November 25, 1997 . Members present were Joe Schmidt, Pam Taschuk, Betty Piper, George Lindy and Paul Montain. Members absent were Sharon Lane and Kim Sullivan. Also present were Rick DeGardner, Barry Bernstein, and Sandie Wood. Rick said there was approximately $327, 000 . 00 in the dedicated park fund currently. He was not sure if the $30, 000 for trails needed to be paid yet . There were questions as to when the city receives the dedicated money. Does the city receive it right away or when the lots are sold/developed. It is received after developers agreement and prior to when utilities and roads are installed. . George went through several minutes from past Park Board and Goal Setting meetings and brought up several projects that were to be done . Some of them are as follows : 1 . The path from Trappers Crossing to Birch Park. The board had talked about purchasing property from Vivian Whitcomb to do this . The cost of the boardwalk is $6, 000 and $9, 000 for the acre of land. Members thought the trail should be by the basketball court . Not done 2 . $23 , 000 had been designated for Behms Century Farm for neighborhood park improvements . George asked Rick to keep the Park Board updated on the Behms project. 3 . $46, 000 has been designated for Pheasant Hills park improvements . Members talked about using some of the funds to access JU-3 property. Not done 4 . At the December, 1996 meeting there was discussion about doing a joint project with the school district on the property the district has for ECFE. Rick told the board the school district is going to have a building in the new town center. The contract is to run for 3-5 years so he was not sure what the status was . Unsure 1
