Council Member Lyden introduced the following resolution and <br /> moved its adoption: <br /> CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION 98-108 <br /> A RESOLUTION ADOPTING INTO THE CITY OF LINO LAKES PERSONNEL <br /> POLICY HANDBOOK,A DATA PRACTICES ADVISORY <br /> WHEREAS, During the course of city employment, an employee may be asked to <br /> provide personal information which may be classified as either private or <br /> confidential, and, <br /> WHEREAS, It is important that employees understand State of Minnesota Data Privacy <br /> rules, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 13, and <br /> WHEREAS, Employees should know why they are providing potentially private or <br /> confidential information about themselves, and <br /> WHEREAS, Every employee receives a copy of the Personnel Policy Handbook, and <br /> will subsequently be exposed to this advisory, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lino <br /> Lakes hereby adopts into the Lino Lakes Personnel Handbook the attached Data Practices <br /> Advisory. <br /> Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 13th Day of July,a998. <br /> ber Sull an, Mayor <br /> aA <br /> c <br /> Mar lyn G.
