Council Member Bergeson introduced the following resolution and moved <br /> its adoption: <br /> CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98 -86 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT WITH ANOKA COUNTY, <br /> OTTER LAKE ROAD REALIGNMENT PROJECT <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes desires to administer the Otter Lake Road <br /> Realignment Project in accordance with the Joint Powers Agreement of Construction of <br /> Realigned Otter Lake Road from Cedar Street to Main Street, <br /> AND WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 471.59 authorizes political subdivisions of the state <br /> to enter into joint powers agreements for the joint exercise of powers common to each, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br /> 1. the Joint Powers Agreement, Anoka County Contract No. 960537, is hereby <br /> approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to sign <br /> n said agreement. <br /> Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council thi*ed <br /> Mayor <br /> Marlyn G. Anderson, Clerk-Treasurer <br /> The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br /> Member Lyden and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br /> favor thereof: Bergeson, Dahl, Lyden, Neal, Sullivan. <br /> The following voted against same: none. <br /> Whereupon said resolution was duly passed and adopted. <br />
