Council Member Dahl introduced the following resolution and moved its <br /> adoption: <br /> CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98 - 95 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM THE CIRCLE-LEX LIONS <br /> CLUB <br /> WHEREAS, the City is a member of the National Youth Sports Coaches Association; <br /> and; <br /> WHEREAS, the City sends all of their youth recreational coaches to the certification <br /> classes offered by this association; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Circle-Lex Lions Club has supported the City's effort to certify all <br /> youth coaches; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Circle-Lex Lions Club has made a contribution of$1,000.00 to defer <br /> some of the costs of this program, and <br /> WHEREAS, the money will be appropriated to the General Fund in the following <br /> manner: <br /> Increase Revenue-Contributions $1,000.00 <br /> Increase Expenditures <br /> National Youth Sports Coaches Assn. $1,000.00 <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,that the City of Lino Lakes hereby accepts <br /> the donation of$1,000.00 to cover one-half of the certification fee for this summers youth <br /> sports coaches and wishes to express its gratitude to the Circle-Lex Lions Club for its <br /> donation. <br /> Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Co cil s 2 f e, 1998. <br /> Ki erly llivan <br /> Marilyn G.
