Council Member Bergeson introduced the following resolution and moved its <br /> adoption: <br /> CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98 - 70 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION <br /> CONTRACT - 1998 SEALCOAT PROJECT. <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the 1998 <br /> Sealcoat project,bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the <br /> following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br /> Name Bid Amount <br /> Allied Blacktop $55,912.50 <br /> Asphalt Surface Technologies Corp. $61,312.50 <br /> AND WHEREAS, it appears that Allied Blacktop Company, is the lowest responsible <br /> bidder; <br /> u <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br /> 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with <br /> Allied Blacktop Company, 10503 - 891h Avenue North, Maple Grove, Minnesota <br /> 55369, in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the construction of the 1998 <br /> Sealcoat Project according to the plans and specifications approved by the City <br /> Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br /> 2.
