She recommended the process to replace the City Clerk begin now, with the intent <br /> of having someone hired by July 1, 1999. <br /> Ms. Waite Smith noted the funding for the partial year salary would come from the salary <br /> budgeted to hire a Human Resources Technician in July, 1999. <br /> Ms. Waite Smith advised that the position will be posted internally and externally.
