We strongly believe that awell-balanced and thought-through plan for the M-6 Mini Park will find the full
and long-term support of probably all families in this neighborhood. Since this neighborhood consists of
less than 40 dwellings it should be fairly easy to analyze the demographic profile and understand the
current and projected future needs of this neighborhood. We also want to appeal to the Lino Lakes Park
Board to take charge of the need for a complete plan for the M-6 LaMotte Park to ensure that a similar
failure will not be repeated as happened years ago with the Volleyball field(grass)in LaMotte Park. It had
been requested during a 1993 neighborhood meeting. It had been installed promptly. Practically nobody
ever used it over the past 6 years. The net had been taken off last fall and the posts had been removed
recently...
We thank you for your consideration.
Si cerely, —
orst Franke Margot)ranke
Copy: Mayor Kim Sullivan
n
