Council Member Berqeson introduced the following resolution and <br /> moved its adoption: <br /> CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 99 - 19 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF <br /> CENTERVILLE FOR WATER SERVICE AND TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY <br /> CLERK TO SIGN THE AGREEMENT. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes and the City of Centerville agree that a controlled <br /> connection of their two water systems is in the best interest of both <br /> communities, and <br /> WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Section 471.59, authorizes political subdivisions to <br /> enter into Joint Powers Agreements: <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA. <br /> 1. Hereby approve the Joint Powers Agreement with the City of Centerville for <br /> Water Service and to authorize the M*y4iVII, <br /> d Ci k to sign the Agreement. <br /> Adopted by the City Council this 22nd day <br /> AIVU <br /> n, Mayor <br /> V <br /> r <br /> The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br /> Member Dahl and upon vote being taken thereon, the <br /> following voted in favorthereof: Berqeson, Dahl, Lyden, Neal , Sullivan <br /> The following voted against same:' none <br /> Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted. <br /> CERTIFICATION <br /> I hereby certify that the above is a correct copy of a resolution duly passed, adopted and <br /> approved by the City Council on March 22, 1999. <br /> �L <br />
