The Park Board has designated $20,000 to park dedication fund and there is $15,000 from the general fund. 1. Lilac Avenue from Mustang Lane to ARpaloosa Lane Approximately 1,400 feet. Sub-base already prepared with completion estimate of$8,000. n 2. Rice Lake Estates trail to Baldwin Park This trail was completed last month. Park dedication dollars were allocated in 1998 for this trail segment. 3. Trail West of Linda Lane An existing trail was constructed outside of the trail easement. This will require removing a portion of the trail and constructing the trail in its proper location. 4. Trail Restoration and Repair There are numerous trail segments in need of repair. This includes numerous culverts that have heaved and will need to be replaced. Other Pending Trail Projects: 1. Trappers Crossing to Birch Park I have been in contact with the property owner's attorney regarding the acquisition of land to proceed with this trail connection. I have not received a response whether the property owner is willing to negotiate. 2. Mallard Lane I am currently working with Anoka County Parks and Recreation in designing a trail segment from Mallard Lane to the Regional Parks Reserve trail system. I have not yet heard if we have been awarded a DNR Grant for trail connections to the Regional Parks trail system. 3. Wenzel Farms Trail $15,000 has been designated for the design and construction of the pedestrian bridge.
