Council Member Dahl introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98- 170 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM THE FRIENDS OF THE <br /> PARKS FOUNDATION IN SUPPORT OF THE PERFORMANCES IN THE <br /> PARKS SERIES <br /> WHEREAS, each year the.Friends of the Parks Foundation applies for a grant from <br /> Target Industries, and <br /> WHEREAS, a grant was awarded to the Friends of the Parks Foundation for$1,000.00, <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Friends of the Parks Foundation has donated the grant funds to <br /> the City of Lino Lakes,and <br /> WHEREAS, the monies will be appropriated to the General Fund in the following <br /> manner: <br /> Increase Revenue-Contributions $1,000.00 <br /> Increase Expenditures- <br /> Performances in the Parks $1,000.00 <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,that the City of Lino Lakes hereby accepts <br /> the donation of$1,000.00 in support of the Performances in the Parks Series and wishes <br /> to express its gratitude to the Friends of the Parks Foundation and Target Industries for <br /> their donation. <br /> Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 14th jay &em&I8. <br /> Malilyn G. Anderson, Clerk-Treasurer Ktr A an, Mayor <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br /> Member Neal and upon vote being taken thereon,the following voted in favor thereof- <br /> Council Members Bergeson,Dahl, Lyden,Neal and Mayor Sullivan. <br /> The following voted against the same: none. <br /> .Whereupon said-resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. ' <br />
