She suggested liaisons start giving the Council regular updates. <br /> This item will be appear on the agenda at the regular Council meeting on Monday, <br /> January 25, 1999. <br /> x.3 <br /> CHARTER COMMISSION/CITY COUNCIL JOINT MEETING DN TESCH <br /> Dan stated a joint meeting with the Charter Commission and'Ci�Co is scheduled <br /> for April 8, 1999. Items to discuss include compliancevw th thetharter regarding the <br /> five-year financial plan,updating Charter language, andf road�rovement referendum <br /> discussion. <br /> REVISED CLERK-TREASURER TELECA&UTING AGREEMENT,LINDA <br /> WAITE SMITH <br /> Linda stated the revised agreement outlined.duties and responsibilities to be done at city <br /> hall and duties to be performed MQ1 e.The list is prioritized. The agreement <br /> allows the City to make the of lyn's time before she retires. <br /> This item will appear onihe_agettda at the regular Council meeting on Monday, January <br /> 25, 1999. <br /> 'R <br /> YMCA/COMIVIUAIITY`C`F�NTER, MARY ALICE DIVINE <br /> Brian stated that a project to move forward, a definite financing decision by the City <br /> will be needed by i4d year. The goal is for the facility to be operating by the end of <br /> 2000. The issues will be discussed in more detail at the February 17, 1999, Council work <br /> session. Action will be requested at the February 22, 1999, Council meeting. <br /> Mary Alice reviewed the background of the project. The YMCA has asked for a financial <br /> commitment from the City before the project goes any further. The YMCA is beginning <br /> to do some programming through the Lino Lakes Parks Department. <br /> Kim explained the Council will need to know where the money is coming from for the <br /> project and how it will affect the tax payers. Brian will give the Council an update at <br /> each work session. �.. <br /> 2 <br />
