CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION FEBRUARY 3, 1999 <br /> and the new phone read system will save in labor costs. It will cost approximately <br /> $360,000 to convert the entire city to phone read. <br /> It was the consensus of the Council to proceed with the phone read/meter replacement <br /> and sump pump inspection proposal. The City currently <br /> works under the County's Ordinance. Staff will be asking for Council direction regarding <br /> the following issues: <br /> 1. Tank size increase <br /> 2. Homeowners being allowed to work on their own septic system <br /> 3. Allowing experimental systems <br /> 3 <br />
