11' <br />YOII'1'H RECREATION PROGRAMS <br />TINY TOT PLAYGROUNDS <br />Playground leaders will conduct a twice weekly program on <br />Monday and Wednesdays from 10:30 to 12:00, for six weeks at <br />Sunrise Park Playground. This program is tailor made for <br />children who will be in kindergarten or first grade this <br />upcoming school year. (4 to 6 year olds) Registration will <br />start Max 6th - or mail your registration in. The program <br />will begin on June 17th. This program includes arts and <br />crafts, music, games, sports, dance, story telling and much <br />more. THERE IS PRE -REGISTRATION FOR THIS PROGRAM FROM MAY 6 <br />THROUGH MAY 31. The cost is $25.00 and limited to the first <br />12 registrants. <br />OPEN PLAYGROUNDS <br />Playground activities begin June 17th and will continue <br />through July 31st. This program is open for all children who <br />are in first grade or older (1991-1992), but the activities <br />are geared for those kids in elementary school. Registration <br />will be taken at the playground and the locations are City <br />Hall Play <br />ground and Sunrise Park.. THERE IS NO REGISTRATION <br />FEE and children are encouraged to register at any time <br />during the summer. Trained and qualified leaders will lead <br />activities such as sports, arts and crafts, special events <br />and more. This program is held on Monday, Wednesday and <br />Friday from 1:00 to 3:30 in the afternoon. <br />T - BALL FOR 5 YEAR OLDS <br />This program is for the young ballplayer to have fun while <br />he/she learns the fundamentals of baseball. A soft rag ball <br />is used. This program consists of practice and non- <br />competitive organized games. This program will meet twice a <br />week. Tuesday and Thursdays from 1:00 to 2:30 PM at City Hall <br />Park starting on June 18th. A two times a week session in the <br />evening will be offered on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 <br />to 7:30 PM at Lino Park starting on June 17th. Both are <br />four week programs. Cost of this program is $20.00 . That <br />price includes a T-shirt. Registration will start May 6 and <br />will continue through May 30th or until filled. <br />T- BALL FOR 6 YEAR OLDS <br />This program is offered for kids who do not or cannot <br />participate in other T-ball programs. A soft rag ball will be <br />used. This is a one time a week program beginning June 4th <br />and will run for 6 weeks. This program is held only at Lino <br />k <br />
