Show trail between north and south softball fields (8' width). :adjust trail location to <br />inside of fence along Birch street and west side of bus drive. Study deleting trail along <br />southwest property line to Highway 10. <br />7. Study tree planting north of existing barns because of future residential development of <br />farm lot. <br />8. Items to be included in the Construction Documents for the elementary school are: <br />- Aglime infields, backstops, and safety fences for softball fields. <br />- Provide suitable grades for soccer fields and trails (coordinate trail location <br />through wooded areas with Marty Asleson). <br />- Provide surmountable curbs at future tennis courts. <br />- Base bid irrigation for lawn areas inside drives around the school (stub lines and <br />valve wires to fields). <br />- Separate alternate bids for irrigation for soccer and softball field areas. <br />9. A joint venture proposal will be prepared by the City and reviewed by the School District <br />regarding maintenance and use of the playfields. Construction of trails and tennis courts <br />by the City was also discussed. School District is willing to maintain tennis courts and <br />provide some funding (up to $5,000 and matched by City) for trail installation. <br />10. Walk from school site to Hokah Street is a high priority for the District. <br />11. _ Plans and study for pedestrian crossing under Birch Street were reviewed: Anoka County <br />approves the plans contingent on providing a bypass during construction and <br />reconstructing the bituminous pavement to their standards. <br />12. Sanitary sewer cost estimate has increased by $50,000.
