CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION NO.21-81 <br /> APPROVING APPLICATION FOR A SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT <br /> FOR AN EVENT HELD AT LIVING WATERS LUTHERAN CHURCH <br /> JULY 28,AUGUST 4 AND AUGUST 11,2021 <br /> WHEREAS, Pastor Ivy Huston of Living Waters Lutheran Church has submitted an application <br /> for a special event permit; and <br /> WHEREAS,the event plan includes live music outside from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. July 28, <br /> August 4 and August 11, 2021; and <br /> WHEREAS, Food truck vendors are required to contact the Anoka County Environmental <br /> Services at 763-324-4260 for permission to operate in the City; and <br /> WHEREAS,Food truck vendors are required to provide state licensing information as well as <br /> Anoka County Environmental Services licensing to Living Waters Lutheran Church; and <br /> WHEREAS,Food vendors are required to be at least 20 feet from structures; and <br /> WHEREAS,Applicant will ensure that event is compliant with City Ordinance 901.03 (4a)Public <br /> Nuisances Affecting Peace and Safety;and <br /> WHEREAS,Telephone service shall be in place sufficient to connect to emergency services; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, Event will end as articulated in the application; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Public Safety Department has reviewed the application and event plans; and <br /> WHEREAS,proof of general liability insurance has been submitted by Living Waters Lutheran <br /> Church to cover all events held on their property; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> That the City Council authorizes issuance of a Special Event Permit to the Living Waters <br /> Lutheran Church for the July 28,August 4 and August 11, 2021. <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 26th day of July, 2021. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember <br /> Ruhland and was duly seconded by CouncilmemberLyden and upon vote being taken thereon, <br /> the following voted in favor thereof: Ruhland,Lyden, Stoesz, Cavegn, Rafferty <br />
