Parks and Recreation Advisory Group
B. Trails recommendation 2
Develop a long-term planning relationship with Anoka County Parks. Pursue
grants that are mutually beneficial.
Rationale:
Remove the barriers between the organizations to develop trail corridors from:
I) East-West, then 2) North-South portions of Lino Lakes. Economies of scale in
working with the County. Create street and off-road corridors that will link all
regions of the city.
Action Plan :
What action? Who's responsible? Done
Date
Prioritize corridors— Advisory Group 1995
Suggest east-west first through Chain of Lakes as
affordable,short term,and most desired by
citizens attending 20/20 Vision Forums..
Key prioritization issue is accessibility to existing
Anoka County equipment and facilities(beach,
playgrounds)-making these facilities readily
available to Lino Lakes citizens at minimal
additional access cost, and no additional
equipment or maintenance expenses.
/ 20/20 Vision
A Community Plannin
Project
2
5/18/95: PKAG
