MEMORANDUM
Date: January 30, 1995
From: Marty Asleson
To: Lino Lakes Park and Recreation Board
Subject: Neighborhood Meetings
In the last month we have met with the
Birchwood/Parkgrove/Pineridge (N-10) neighborhood, and the Wenzel
Farms Neighborhood. There was a Brandywood and (N-10) meeting
last year. George Lindy is presently limning up a follow-up
meeting with Brandywood.
Please find attached neighborhood minutes from (n-10) from
7/21/94. We have not received their minutes from the most resent
meeting; however notes were taken and the summary is attached. I
will elaborate on this more at the meeting.
We have also made contact with Homer Tompkins from Pheasant Hills
Preserve, and have set a budget and started concept planning the
(M-5) Park area. If I have the Plan by the meeting I will bring
it.
There is a scheduled meeting with the Rice Lake Estates
Neighborhood for Friday, February 17, at 7:00 PM, at 186 Egret
Lane. Please find enclosed a copy of the correspondence from
this area. I recently discussed this situation again with Jim
Keinath, the Administrator for Circle Pines, and Jim's comment
was to write another letter of urgency to help expedite the legal
process. I asked for a letter from the neighborhood and that is
also enclosed. I will attach this to the letter from the city.
I have made contact with Mary Sarrian, a Circle Pines Park Board
person and asked her to be at this neighborhood meeting to help
answer some of the questions. A variance request has been
submitted to the Rice Creek Watershed Board to consider the lot
situation
