Sunday-Thursday Year: 1995 Location: <br /> Sunrise #1 & 2, Lino and Rice Lake School #3 Time (s) : 6-8pm <br /> unless weekend makeup <br /> Possible Conflicts with facilities? <br /> The fields that are used are reserved for the purpose of <br /> adult softball . <br /> Program goals & Objectives : <br /> This program is designed to give people the opportunity to <br /> have a quality competitive/recreational softball program. <br /> Program Needs and possible impacts: <br /> This program is very demanding! The ballfields that are <br /> used must be maintained to the highest of quality possible <br /> not only for ascetics, but for safety reasons . <br /> Safety: <br /> As mentioned above, the facility must be very well <br /> maintained to avoid possible injuries to participants . The <br /> officials for this program also must be USSSA Certified for <br /> insurance purposes . <br /> Maintenance: <br /> The addition of the Cushman is a tremendous asset to this <br /> program. This machine is capable of doing a tremendous <br /> amount of work with one operator. Each field used should be <br /> worked on every day for a better playing experience. <br /> Staff Needs : <br /> The softball umpires are given rules, extra softballs and <br /> administrative regulations at a pre season meeting held with <br /> the recreation program supervisor. <br /> Management: <br /> This program is very involved on an administrative level . <br /> Between coordination of scheduling, field preparation, <br /> coordination of officials and answering questions from <br /> players, managers and umpires, all of these take a <br /> tremendous amount of time . It is hoped that teams, players, <br /> managers and umpires find the conversation with the league <br /> director useful and helpful . <br /> Other: Over the past few years of operating this program, it <br /> appears that the availability of the league director to the <br />
