City of Lino Lakes <br /> 1996 Park Goals <br /> Listed below are the goals the Park Board chose for 1996. Please <br /> rate each goal, on a scale from 0• (lowest priority) to 10 (highest <br /> priority) and bring them to the October 2, 1995 Park Board meeting. <br /> Staff will average them and determine the priority of each goal. <br /> 1. Birch Park <br /> Purchase a piece of property (peninsula) and <br /> create a trail connection between Birch Park and <br /> the northern portion of Trappers Crossing. <br /> 2 . Clearwater Creek S <br /> Trail development . <br /> 3 . Ouai1 Ridge <br /> Master plan, trail and boardwalk. <br /> 4 . City Hall Park <br /> a. Playground equipment <br /> b. Ball fields CA <br /> 5 . Country Lakes Park �t <br /> Trails and general grading. l <br /> 6. A-3 Complex <br /> Open ended financial commitment for land <br /> acquisition. <br /> 7 . Trails <br /> a. Completing dead end segments (ie Birch street) <br /> b. Paving existing graded trails <br /> c. Trail connection to Regional Park <br /> d. equitable trail dedication ordinance <br /> Mission Statements <br /> 1. The Lino Lakes Park Board would like to explore the <br /> possibility of creating a joint use athletic complex (A-3) <br /> with the cities of Centerville and Circle Pines. <br /> 2 . In an effort to connect the northern part of the city the <br /> southern part by means of a trail corridor, we would like to <br /> go on record in support of a new bridge wide enough to <br /> accommodate a transportation trail at the Hwy. 49 crossing of <br /> n Rice Creek between Baldwin Lake and Rice Lake. <br /> 3 . The Park Board supports any cooperative efforts with the <br /> school district regarding joint development and joint use of <br /> school district recreational facilities. <br />
