CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 21-84 <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING THE COMPENSATION PLAN <br /> FOR PAID ON-CALL FIRE PERSONNEL <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has integrated fire services into the Public Safety <br /> Department; and <br /> WHEREAS,the wages and compensation of paid on-call fire personnel are a vital <br /> component of an effective recruitment and retention program; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Lino Lakes values a professional and engaged workforce. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino <br /> Lakes that the city hereby amends the compensation plan for paid on-call fire personnel, <br /> effective January 1, 2022: <br /> Firefighter Per Hour Wage <br /> Starting Wage $15.00 <br /> Upon completion of 5 years of service $16.50 <br /> Upon completion of 10 years of service $17.08 <br /> Upon completion of 15 years of service $17.68 <br /> Upon completion of 20 years of service $18.29 <br /> Fire Officers Monthly Stipend <br /> Fire Lieutenant $225.00 <br /> District Chief $300.00 <br /> FURTHERMORE, BE IT RESOLVED that staff will review the compensation plan for <br /> paid-on call fire personnel on a biennial basis (every two years) and the City Council will <br /> consider whether an amendment is warranted. <br /> Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 9th day of August,2021. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember <br /> Cavegn and was duly seconded by Councilmember Ruhland and upon vote being taken <br /> thereon,the following voted in favor thereof: Cavegn, Ruhland, Stoesz, Lyden, Rafferty <br /> The following voted against same: None <br /> Rob Rafferty, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> I*a e Bartell, City Jerk <br />
