STAFF ORIGINATOR <br />MEETING DATE: <br />TOPIC: <br />VOTE REQUIRED: <br />INTRODUCTION <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 3A <br />Lisa Hogstad-Osterhues, City Clerk <br />September 13, 2021 <br />Consider Resolution No. 21-95, Denying an Application for <br />Transient Merchant/Peddler's License for Moxie Services <br />Minnesota LLC, DBA Joshua's Pest Control <br />3/5 <br />City Code, Chapter 613, regulates transient merchant, peddler, canvasser and solicitor license. <br />The City has received the following application: <br />- Application for Transient Merchant/Peddler's License from Dayne Schouten, Moxie <br />Services Minnesota LLD, DBA Joshua's Pest Control. <br />f:���l KIiZ�111►17 <br />The license application was reviewed by the City Clerk's office in regard to information required <br />for issuance and other City requirements. A background investigation on the applicant was <br />conducted by the public safety department. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Based on the findings of the review and the background investigation, staff is recommending that <br />the City Council consider Resolution No. 21-95, denying the application for Transient <br />Merchant/Peddler's License for Dayne Schouten, Moxie Services Minnesota LLD, DBA <br />Joshua's Pest Control. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />Denial Letter <br />BBB Findings <br />City of Big Lake Revocation of Peddler License <br />Resolution No. 21-95 <br />Lino Lakes City Code, Section 613.01 <br />
