Sanitary Sewer Plan <br /> Goals of the sanitary sewer plan are to ensure well-planned, quality residential <br /> development that conserves and enhances the city's natural resources and to provide an <br /> affordable and safe sanitary sewer system. <br /> Private septic systems with primary and alternative locations are provided for each lot. <br /> Water Supply Plan <br /> A goal of the water supply plan is to provide residents affordable potable water that is <br /> safe and of high quality for daily consumption and fire demand. <br /> Private wells are being installed for each lot. The applicant shall aoY..,onstr e that ea <br /> has provided well locations for each lot. <br /> Planning Districts <br /> The site is located in Planning District 4. As noted, a regional trail is proposed on the <br /> east side of Amelia Lake. The site is located within Amelia and Wilkinson Resource <br /> Management Unit(RMU). <br /> Environmental Board Comments <br /> The Environmental Board reviewed the proposed preliminary plat on August 25, 2021. <br /> Their recommendations are noted in the attached Augur October 1, 2021 memo <br /> from the Environmental Coordinator. One specific comment was to prohibit motorized <br /> boats on Amelia Lake. This requires adopting water surface restrictions with property <br /> owner input, a public hearing, City ordinance and MNDNR approval. Staff is r-eqttesfing <br /> Plafm ng&Zoning Board inpi„*. At the September 8, 2021 Planning &Zoning Board <br /> meeting, the Board did not support regulating motorized boat activity on the lake without <br /> input from all the lake property owners. The Board suggested the property owners could <br /> pursue this avenue on their own if they desired. One resident, Steve Gallop-6102 <br /> Centerville Road, spoke in favor of the restriction. <br /> Anoka County Highway Department Comments <br /> Per the County's October 7, 2021 letter, they have reviewed the preliminaryplat and have <br /> no further comments. <br /> MNDNR Comments <br /> MNDNR provided email comments on October 6, 2021. They request the OHWL <br /> elevation(NAVD 88) shown on the preliminaryplat be revised to reflect the DNR's <br /> official complete value which is 908.36. <br /> 13 <br />
