RESOLUTION NO. 21-32 ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR HARD COURT FACILITY AT BIRCH STREET AND CENTERVILLE ROAD WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the hard court facility at Birch Street and Centerville Road, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement; and CONTRACTOR TOTAL BASE BID JACON LLC $326,345.56 T. A. Schifsky & Sons Inc. $392,465.26 Bituminous Roadways $407,559.50 A-1 Excavating Inc. $408,824.40 Dunaway Construction $477,499.50 Meyer Contracting Inc. $530,019.93 Park Construction Company $541,828.68 Urban Companies $609,359.50 WHEREAS, it appears that JACON LLC. is the lowest responsible bidder. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes: 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with JACON LLC in the amount of $326,345.56 by the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the construction of the hard court facility at Birch Street and Centerville Road according to the plans and specifications approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the Bid Bonds made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next two lowest bidders shall be retained until a contract has been signed. Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 12th day of April, 2021.
