1st Reading: June 14, 2021 Publication: <br />2nd Reading: June 28, 2021 Effective: January 1, 2022 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />ORDINANCE NO. 06-21 <br /> <br /> AMENDING CHAPTER 203 OF THE LINO LAKES CITY CODE <br />BY ADJUSTING THE SALARIES OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCILMEMBERS <br /> <br />The City Council of Lino Lakes ordains: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That Chapter 203 of the Lino Lakes Code of Ordinances be <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />CHAPTER 203: COUNCIL COMPENSATION <br /> <br /> § 203.01 COMPENSATION OF MAYOR AND COUNCILMEMBERS. <br /> <br />(1) Salaries. The compensation of the Mayor and each Councilmember shall be <br />established from time to time by City Council ordinance pursuant to M.S. § 415.11. <br />Effective January 1, 20202022, the salary of the Mayor shall be $10,11210,650, and the <br />salary of each Councilmember shall be $8,5008,952. Thereafter, every two years the City <br />Council will consider whether a salary adjustment is warranted. This salary is intended to <br />cover all meetings that may be attended by the Mayor or Councilmembers except as <br />expressly provided in this section. <br /> <br />(2) Payment. The salaries established hereby are to be paid monthly. <br /> <br />(3) Economic Development Authority (EDA) meetings. The City Council will be <br />compensated for attendance at EDA meetings at the rate of $40 per meeting. <br /> <br />§ 203.02 WORKER'S COMPENSATION. <br /> <br />Pursuant to M.S. § 176.011, Subd. 5, as it may be amended from time to time, all <br />of the City Council members shall be covered by worker's compensation. <br /> <br />Section 2. Effective Date.
