CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 21-60 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CAPITAL BUDGET REQUEST TO THE <br />COMMISSIONER OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes participates in the Minnesota Management and Budget’s <br />(MMB) biennial process for reviewing state capital investment requests, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, submitting preliminary project information is a vital component of the state <br />capital investment process, and provides needed background to the Governor and Legislators in <br />determining state investments; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes will seek state funding in 2022 for capital improvements for <br />city projects; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Management and Budget (MMB) requests preliminary capital budget <br />requests by June 18, 2021, for the 2022 State capital budget preparations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City of Lino Lakes has determined that the Water Treatment Plant is the City’s <br />priority project for inclusion in this process; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes <br />supports the Water Treatment Plant project for bonding in the 2022 legislative session. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that City staff is directed to properly file this request for <br />funding with the Minnesota Management and Budget Office. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 14th day of June, 2021. <br /> <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />_______________and was duly seconded by Council Member ________________ and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />The following voted against same: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />_______________________________ <br />Rob Rafferty, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />________________________ <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br /> <br />
