Annual licensing fees have remained steady since 2017. We are <br />anticipating a 10% increase for 2022. <br />Manhole Lining - Manhole structures are one of the primary contributors to infiltration into the city sewer system. The <br />generally high water table in Lino Lakes makes it more imperative to have manholes properly lined. The additional <br />infiltration of ground water into the sewer system causes increased rates paid to the Met Council as well as sinkholes <br />around these structures where the water and sediments wash into the manhole structure. Normal costs for manhole <br />lining are about $6,000 per manhole. Additionally, every 2 or 3 years the city applies for grant money up to $25K- <br />$30K to cover some of the costs. <br />111
