COUNCIL MINUTES <br />DRAFT <br />3 <br />Councilmember Stoesz remarked that he is voting no because he sees this as a fee that will not show 78 <br />up on property tax statements and one that will impact certain nonprofit and properties in the City. 79 <br />6B) Consider Resolution 21-87, Order Project, Approve the Plans and Specifications and 80 <br />Authorize the Ad for Bid, CRJ/CSAH 49 (Hodgson Road) Trunk Utility Improvements – City 81 <br />Engineer Hankee reviewed her written report outlining a utility improvement project in the Hodgson 82 <br />Road area. She noted how the improvements will provide additional services to current and future 83 <br />development. Staff will hold up on bidding the project until certain development funding issues 84 <br />(Lyngblomsten) are resolved. 85 <br />Councilmember Stoesz asked if the pipe will impact the new trail in the area of Lyngblomsten. Ms. 86 <br />Hankee noted that the side of the street for the trail has not been determined but a trail will still work on 87 <br />top of this piping. 88 <br />Councilmember Cavegn asked what would happen with this project if Lyngblomsten were to be 89 <br />postponed. Ms. Hankee said this would be postponed as well. Community Development Director 90 <br />Grochala added that staff would probably relook and decide what would be feasible. 91 <br />Councilmember Lyden remarked that the council has discussed lift station design in the past; he 92 <br />wonders if there is a point where you have to look at that cost. Ms. Hankee noted the City’s standard 93 <br />for that work; there is analysis available when making funding decisions. 94 <br />Councilmember Stoesz moved to approve Resolution No. 21-87 as presented. Councilmember 95 <br />Cavegn seconded the motion.
