COUNCIL MINUTES <br />DRAFT <br />3 <br />due to the contractor and the resolution will authorize that to occur. She noted that the funding 79 source is the Surface Water Management Fund. 80 <br />Councilmember Cavegn moved to approve Resolution No. 21-109 as presented. Councilmember 81 <br />Lyden seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 82 <br />6B) Consider Approval of Resolution No. 21-110, Approving Payment No. 2 and Final, 83 2021 Street Maintenance Project – City Engineer Hankee reviewed the change order requested. 84 <br />Mayor Rafferty remarked that the project came in $11,000 under budget; that is still good work. 85 <br />Councilmember Lyden moved to approve Resolution No. 21-110 as presented. Councilmember 86 <br />Stoesz seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 87 <br />6C) 2022 77th Street Realignment Project: i. Consider Resolution 21-111, Authorize the 88 Preparation of Plans and Specs; ii. Consider Resolution No. 21-112, Approving Design 89 Engineering Services Contract with WSB & Associates – City Engineer Hankee noted the two 90 <br />resolutions. The project includes realigning the roadway to the signalized intersection. She noted 91 <br />that the engineering portion of the project would be funded through the Closed Bond Fund and the 92 <br />rest of the project through future bond proceeds. She reviewed the project planning schedule. 93 <br />Councilmember Cavegn asked when the project will begin? Ms. Hankee said staff would hope to 94 see construction in the 2022 construction season. 95 <br />Councilmember Stoesz asked about maintaining neighborhood access during construction. Ms. 96 <br />Hankee explained that access is planned to be maintained but there is also a northern access point. 97 <br />Councilmember Lyden thanked staff; this should be a huge positive for the City. 98 <br />Community Development Director Grochala clarified that use of Closed Bond Funds will result in 99 <br />eventual reimbursement of those funds through bond proceeds. 100 <br />Councilmember Stoesz moved to approve Resolution No. 21-111 and Resolution No. 21-112 as 101 presented. Councilmember Ruhland seconded the motion.
