<br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 6E <br /> <br /> <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Diane Hankee, City Engineer <br /> <br />MEETING DATE: November 8, 2021 <br /> <br />TOPIC: Resolution No. 21-132, Accepting Quotes and Awarding a <br />Construction Contract, 2021 Surface Water Maintenance Project <br /> <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 Vote Required <br /> <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />Staff is requesting authorization to accept quotes and award the construction contract for the <br />2021 Surface Water Maintenance Project. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />The City’s annual Surface Water Management Program (SWMP) addresses areas in need of <br />maintenance, and conforms to the City’s Surface Water Pollution and Prevention Plan. The City <br />will perform storm sewer repair and cleaning, vegetation removal, sediment removal, and pond <br />cleanings.
