<br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 21-132 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTES, AND AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION <br />CONTRACT, 2021 SURFACE WATER MAINTENANCE PROJECT <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a request for quotes for the construction of the 2021 Surface Water <br />Maintenance Project, quotes were received, and tabulated: <br /> <br />CONTRACTOR TOTAL QUOTE <br />Dimke Excavating Inc. $159,252.00 <br />Jacon LLC $203,288.00 <br />Olson’s Sewer Service/ Olson’s Excavating Services $243,883.39 <br />Dresel Contracting, Inc. $592,625.00 <br />Fuhr Trenching, Inc. Did Not Quote <br />C.W. Houle, Inc. Did Not Quote <br />North Pine Aggregate, Inc. Did Not Quote <br />Penn Contracting, Inc. Did Not Quote <br />T.A. Schifsky & Sons, Inc. Did Not Quote <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Dimke Excavating Inc. of Lino Lakes, Minnesota, is the lowest <br />responsible bidder; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the funding for the project is from the General Fund Streets Budget; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes that the <br />Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract Dimke Excavating Inc. <br />for the construction of the 2021 Surface Water Maintenance Project in the amount of $159,252.00; <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 8th day of November, 2021. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />_______________and was duly seconded by Council Member ________________ and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> <br />The following voted against same: <br />_______________________________ <br />Rob Rafferty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />________________________ <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />
