CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 21-137 <br /> RESOLUTION SUBMITTING A LIST OF ELIGIBLE NOMINEES TO ANOKA <br /> COUNTY FOR THE OPEN MANAGER POSITION ON THE RICE CREEK <br /> WATERSHED DISTRICT BOARD OF MANAGERS <br /> WHEREAS,the City received notice of an opening on the Rice Creek Watershed District Board <br /> of Managers; and <br /> WHEREAS,Anoka County notified the City they can submit a list of nominations to the Anoka <br /> County Board of Commissioners per Minnesota Statute 103D.311; and <br /> WHEREAS,the cities of Blaine, Centerville, Circle Pines, Lino Lakes, Lexington, and Spring <br /> Lake Park wish to have representation on the Rice Creek Watershed District Board of Managers; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, listed below the City of Lino Lakes nominates the following individual to the <br /> Anoka County Board of Commissioners to consider; and <br /> Scott Robinson, 8179 41h Avenue, Lino Lakes, MN <br /> WHEREAS,the nominee shall join the Jointly Submitted List from the cities of Blaine, <br /> Centerville, Circle Pines, Lino Lakes, Lexington and Spring Lake Park; and <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes <br /> does hereby submit a list of names for consideration by the Anoka County Board of <br /> Commissioners per Minnesota Statute 103D.311 at least 60 days before the expiration of the <br /> term of the board managers' term who expires on January 17, 2022. <br /> Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 8th day of November 2021. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember <br /> Cavegn and was duly seconded by Councilmember Stoesz and upon vote being taken thereon, <br /> the following voted in favor thereof.
