COUNCIL MINUTES <br />DRAFT <br />2 <br />PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT REPORT 41 <br />There was no report from the Public Safety Department. 42 <br />PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT REPORT 43 <br />5A) Consideration of Resolution No. 20-16, Approving Contract with Northland Recreation 44 <br />Inc. for Woods Edge Park Playground Equipment – Public Services Director DeGardner 45 <br />reviewed his written request to authorize a contract for playground equipment for the new Woods 46 <br />Edge Park. He reviewed the location, the cost, construction award contract and the process utilized 47 <br />to seek the contractor. The funding source was also noted. 48 <br />Council Member Stoesz asked for a time schedule; an end of May construction time was noted by 49 <br />staff. 50 <br />Council Member Ruhland asked what would not be included from the master plan – Mr. DeGardner 51 <br />noted those elements and their cost of about $45,000. 52 <br />Mayor Rafferty suggested that individuals could visit Northpointe Park that was recently developed 53 <br />(and Sunrise Park that was improved); at those locations you could see the work of this firm. 54 <br />Council Member Stoesz moved to approve Resolution No. 20-16 as presented. Council Member 55 <br />Lyden seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 56 <br />5B) Consideration of Resolution No. 20-17, Approving Sprint Spectrum L.P. Lease 57 <br />Agreement – Water Tower #2 – Public Services Director DeGardner reviewed his request for 58 <br />authorization to enter into a lease agreement with Sprint Spectrum for their equipment on Water 59 <br />Tower #2. 60 <br />Council Member Ruhland moved to approve Resolution No. 20-17 as presented. Council Member 61 <br />Stoesz seconded the motion.
