2 <br /> <br />Comment Response <br /> <br />2. As part of the long-term planning process, the <br />City of Lino Lakes is anticipating the future need <br />for 80th Street to connect to the west. The <br />planned timing for this connection is post 2040. <br />The City recognizes the need to begin this <br />dialogue between the Met Council and Anoka <br />County and therefore has indicated this future <br />road connection in its transportation plan and in <br />this AUAR. This project could be subject to a <br />separate environmental review process and <br />would be evaluated for environmental review at <br />that time. <br /> <br />3. We understand that these improvements are <br />not identified by Met Council 2040 Transportation <br />Policy Plan. However, the City has identified the <br />improvements in the current 2040 <br />Comprehensive Plan update in the “Post-2040” <br />conditions. It is also understood that as the area <br />develops these improvements or other <br />improvements would be considered. If <br />environmental review for the future roadway <br />connection is required, it will be completed at that <br />time. <br />2. <br />3.
