We will be responsible for other new supplies such as single use pens, secrecy <br />shields and special signage to help manage movement. <br /> <br />Election Judges - I believe it’s going to be a challenge to recruit enough judges to staff <br />our seven polling locations. The City has a solid base of regular election judges but <br />many will not be able to work due to health conditions or age. We are recruiting <br />(college students, our friends, city volunteers, newsletter, city staff) and will follow up on <br />any possible resources. We may have to consider raising the salary from $10 hour, <br />especially for the November election. <br /> <br />Budget - Grant funding to cover special expenses is expected to funnel down to cities <br />from the federal government but, as you may know, the funds are currently held up at the <br />state level.
