The City is governed by a Mayor and four <br />Council members. Mr. Karlson has <br />been with the City since August 2010. The City's Finance Director is Ms. Sarah Cotton, who has been with <br />the City since August 2015. The City’s Community Development Director is Mr. Michael Grochala, who <br />has been with the City since June 2001. <br /> <br />The City has 68 regular full-time and 2 regular part-time employees. <br /> <br /> Services <br /> <br />Police protection is provided by 27 sworn police officers. Effective January 2016, fire protection is <br />provided by the Lino Lakes Public Safety Fire Division, which is comprised of a Deputy Director of Fire <br />Operations, cross-trained police officers, and paid-on-call firefighters. The City has a Public Protection <br />Classification of 4/4Y as rated by ISO. <br />
