1 <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 6B <br /> <br /> <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Katie Larsen, City Planner <br /> <br />MEETING DATE: July 27, 2020 <br /> <br />TOPIC: Consider Resolution No. 20-76 Approving Conditional Use <br />Permit Amendment #1-Outdoor Storage of Rental Equipment for <br />All Seasons Rental (7932 Lake Drive) <br /> <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />Staff is requesting City Council consideration of the above noted item for All Seasons Rental <br />located at 7932 Lake Drive. <br /> <br />Complete Application Date: June 25, 2020 <br />60-Day Review Deadline: August 24, 2020 <br />Environmental Board Meeting: NA <br />Park Board Meeting: N/A <br />Planning & Zoning Board Meeting: July 8, 2020 <br /> Tentative City Council Work Session: July 27, 2020 <br /> Tentative City Council Meeting: July 27, 2020 <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />The applicants, Scott and Shelly Carlson, own All Seasons Rental located at 7932 Lake Drive. <br />They are requesting an amendment to the conditional use permit to allow for outdoor storage of <br />rental equipment. <br /> <br />This staff report is based on the following information: <br /> <br />• Original Site Plan prepared by Roshell Engineering, Inc. dated December 18, 2018 <br />• Revised Site Plan prepared by All Seasons Rental and City dated June 25, 2020 <br /> <br />ANALYSIS <br /> <br />On August 14, 2017, the City Council approved Resolution No. 17-81 approving conditional <br />use permits (CUP) for commercial planned unit development and small engine and boat repair <br />for All Seasons Rental. These conditional use permits were related to the construction of a new <br />7,740 sf commercial building and 1,041 sf accessory structure. Site and building plan review <br />was also completed as part of the project. <br />
