CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 20-79 APPROVING A SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 04-20 FOR PUBLICATION WHEREAS, the City Council approved Ordinance No. 04-20, vacating street easement on the area described as “The east 33.00 feet of that part of the East 1/2 of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 24, Township 31, Range 22, Anoka County, Minnesota, lying south of a line drawn parallel with and 171.74 feet south of, as measured at a right angle to, the most southerly line of Parcel 11, Anoka County Right of Way Plat No. 65, according to the map or plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the Anoka County Recorder and Registrar of Titles and lying north of a line drawn parallel with and 400.00 feet south of, as measured at a right angle to, said most southerly line of Parcel 11.” and WHEREAS, the City Council approved the first reading on July 13, 2020, and the second reading and final passage on July 27, 2020; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 04-20 is lengthy and MN statute 412.191 allows the city to publish a summary of an ordinance, and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the summary clearly informs the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance, and WHEREAS, the publication in the official newspaper will include a notice that a full printed copy of the ordinance is available at City Hall. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes, Minnesota that the City Council approves the summary in Attachment A for publication according to state law and the City Charter. Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 27th day of July, 2020.
