2021 BUDGET <br />ADDITIONAL VEHICLE FOR <br />FULL TIME SEWER/WATER EMPLOYEE <br />$58,000 <br />  <br />Assuming approval of the addiƟonal UƟliƟes Maintenance  <br />posiƟon, staff is requesƟng an addiƟonal pick‐up truck to  <br />the UƟliƟes Vehicle Fleet. The vehicle would carry the many  <br />specialty tools and equipment that is needed on a daily ba‐ <br />sis (ie. locaƟng equipment, hand tools, hydrant wrenches,  <br />water turn‐off keys, plumbing tools, road cones), and be  <br />equipped to transport all trailers necessary in sewer and wa‐ <br />ter maintenance pracƟces.  In addiƟon to serving as the pri‐ <br />mary vehicle for the new employee, it would also be equipped with a plow to clear trails, parking lots and  <br />cul‐de‐sacs during snow events.    <br />Recommended funding is evenly split between the Water OperaƟng Fund and Sewer OperaƟng Fund,  <br />Capital Outlay.  <br />  <br />  <br />  <br />  <br />137
