CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 20-103 A RESOLUTION AWARDING 2020 LINO LAKES FACILITIES TOUCHLESS ENTRY UPGRADES PROJECT WHEREAS, The City Council approved Resolution No. 20-92, Authorize the Advertisement for Bids for the 2020 Lino Lakes Facilities Touchless Entry Upgrades, at the August 24, 2020 City Council meeting; and WHEREAS, Bids were opened on Wednesday, September 9, 2020. Two bids were received as follows: Wheeler Hardware Cy-Con, Inc. City Hall and Police Dept $298,205.00 $376,118.00 Fire Station #1 (Bid Alternate) $44,055.00 $68,673.00 Fire Station #2 (Bid Alternate) $52,660.00 $76,309.00 Public Works (Bid Alternate) $33,725.00 $55,668.00 Senior Center (Bid Alternate) $41,500.00 $46,893.00 WHEREAS, Staff is recommending moving forward with the base bid of the City Hall and Police Dept, and the Public Works bid alternate. This results in awarding the bid to Wheeler Hardware in the amount of $331,930; and WHEREAS, Staff has reviewed this project and determined that it meets the eligibility requirements (necessary expenditures due to COVID-19, not accounted for in the most recently adopted budget, expenditures will be incurred during the covered period of March 1 to November 15, 2020). NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes hereby awards the 2020 Lino Lakes Facilities Touchless Entry Upgrades project to Wheeler Hardware by approving Resolution 20-103. Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this14th day of September, 2020.
