He noted that staff is requesting 30 <br />consideration to award eight bids. He reviewed the history of council consideration of the elements 31 <br />of the project. The contractors were reviewed. The project will meet eligibility requirement for 32 <br />CARES Act grant funding. 33 <br />Councilmember Stoesz asked if the bids are not to exceed numbers. Mr. DeGardner confirmed. 34 <br />Public Services Director DeGardner noted those contracts that were coordinated for the City and 35 <br />those that were directly handled by the City. Mayor Rafferty remarked that he understands that 36 <br />coordination is needed in a project like this where there are many moving pieces and a strict 37 <br />deadline. 38
