<br />3 Pavement Condition Report <br /> <br />Pavement Condition Report <br />Existing Pavement Condition <br />This report shows the latest pavement conditions using PAVER, which is an <br />asset management software used to record and estimate the conditions of the <br />roadways. <br />In the field, PAVER calculates the PCI using the deduct values, which are based <br />on the distress type, distress severity, and distress quantity. Conditions of <br />roadways that were not inspected this year were estimated using the default <br />pavement performance curve (as shown in Figure I). The graph below <br />represents a typical bituminous pavement deterioration rate, and it may vary <br />depending on the type of maintenance activities performed over the period of <br />pavement life. <br /> <br />Figure I. Bituminous pavement performance curve applied to all the <br />bituminous roadways in the City of Lino Lakes. <br />Table II shows a breakdown of the pavement overall condition in the City. The <br />PCI values obtained were based on visual inspections and the recommended <br />strategies for each category shall only be used as guidelines.
