An 16 <br />ordinance amendment is required related to a vacation for a small building project. There 17 <br />is a large utility power line overhead and the drainage and utility easement mimics that. 18 <br />However, the drainage and utility ground easement doesn’t need to be as large as the 19 <br />overhead so therefore the City can grant the vacation to allow for construction of a deck. 20 <br />Mayor Rafferty noted that this type of change comes at quite a cost to the property 21 <br />owner; Community Development Director Gr ochala explained the costs related to a 22 <br />vacation and that is what is charged. 23 <br /> 24 <br />Items 6B through 6F - City Engineer Hankee noted that all items relate to assessments 25 <br />(voluntary) for individuals or developers. Regarding 6B, Ms. Hankee explained that a 26 <br />property that is required to pay additional water main fees based on current code. City 27 <br />Engineer Hankee reviewed each of the proposed assessments. 28 <br /> 29 <br />Item 6G – City Engineer Hankee noted there are many final payments coming through this 30 <br />time of the year related mainly to the finish of the main construction season. This item 31 <br />relates to the Pheasant Hills water main project. That project scope was increased at one 32 <br />point and now the final payment authorization is requested and is just slightly above the 33 <br />budget. 34 <br /> 35 <br />Item 6H – City Engineer Hankee noted the final payment requested related to the Sewer 36 <br />Extension to Water Tower #3 project. The project came in somewhat under budget. 37 <br /> 38 <br />Item 6I – City Engineer Hankee explained the Surface Water Maintenance Project (2018) 39 <br />and its elements. One area within the project just became dry enough to enter and do 40 <br />necessary work this year. She noted the final payment amount. 41 <br /> 42 <br />Item 6J – City Eng ineer Hankee explained that staff is requesting authorization to accept 43 <br />quotes for a 2020 Inflow and Infiltration Reduction Project. 44
