CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 20-148 <br /> <br />APPROVING CLEANING SERVICES CONTRACT WITH MARSDEN SERVICES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Marsden Services is one of the largest privately-owned facility service providers <br />in the United States; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Staff recommends executing a services agreement with Marsden Services for a <br />period of six months to determine whether we see noticeable improvement in cleaning services; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The 2021 monthly rates (includes labor, chemicals, equipment, workers comp, <br />general liability insurance) are as follows: <br />City Hall and Police Dept (5 times per week) $3,856.00 <br />Public Works (3 times per week) $1,044.60 <br />Fire Station #1 (2 times per week) $631.58 <br />Fire Station #2 (2 times per week) $691.82 <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes: <br /> <br />1. That the City Council authorizes the Public Services Director to execute the necessary <br />contracts with Marsden Services to provide the necessary cleaning services for the city- <br />owned buildings indicated above. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 14th day of December, 2020. <br /> <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />_____________and was duly seconded by Council Member and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />The following voted against same: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />_______________________________ <br />Rob Rafferty, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />______________ <br /> <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br /> <br />
