<br /> <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 20-153 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTES, AND AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION <br />CONTRACT, 2020 SURFACE WATER MAINTENANCE PROJECT <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS , pursuant to a request for quotes for the construction of the 2020 Surface Water <br />Maintenance Project, quotes were received, and tabulated: <br /> <br />CONTRACTOR TOTAL QUOTE <br />C.W. Houle, Inc. Did Not Quote <br />North Pine Aggregate, Inc. Did Not Quote <br />Olson’s Sewer Service/ Olson’s Excavating Services $40,304.53 <br />Penn Contracting, Inc. $97,715.00 <br /> <br />WHEREAS , it ap pears that Olson’s Sewer Service/ Olson’s Excavating Services of Forest Lake, <br />Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS , the funding for the project is from the General Fund Streets Budget; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Co unc il of the City of Lino Lakes that t he <br />Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract Olson’s Sewer Service/ <br />Olson’s Excavating Services for the construction of the 2020 Surface Water Maintenance Project in the <br />amount of $40,304.53; <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 14th day of December, 2020. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />_______________and was duly seconded by Council Member ________________ and upon vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> <br />The following voted against same: <br />_______________________________ <br />Rob Rafferty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />________________________ <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk
