CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 4A <br /> <br /> <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: John Swenson, Public Safety Director <br /> <br />MEETING DATE: January 13, 2020 <br /> <br />TOPIC: Acceptance Police and Fire Plaques <br /> <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br /> <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />The Lino Lakes Public Safety Department is requesting council approval to accept a police plaque <br />and a fire plaque as a donation from Lino Lakes’ resident Tim Rystrom. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />Mr. Rystrom wants to show his appreciation for our police and firefighters by making a police <br />plaque and fire plaque. <br /> <br />There is photo of the plaques attached to this report. <br /> <br />If acceptance of this donation is approved the plaques will be displayed in the Public Safety <br />Department. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Staff recommends approval of acceptance for a police plaque and a fire plaque made my Mr. <br />Rystrom . <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />Photo of the two plaques.
